Help Kids with Ella's Care Kits

What are Ella's Care Kits?

The Women of St. Elizabeth have committed to providing weekend food bags for homeless children who attend Christiana Elementary School in southern Rutherford County. Bags are assembled approximately every 2-3 weeks. We ask the members of St. Elizabeth to provide the food that will go into the bags. Food needs to be shelf-stable, single serving, somewhat nutritious, and kid-friendly. Please bring the food and leave the items under the drink table or the food serving table closest to the drink table.

Here are some suggested items:
  • Chef Boyardee microwave cups
  • Microwave mac & cheese cups
  • Chicken or tuna packets
  • Oatmeal packets
  • Pop Tarts
  • Meat sticks
  • Shelf-stable milk or protein drinks
  • Peanut butter crackers
  • Protein bars
  • Granola bars
  • Nut packets
  • Crackers
  • Chips
  • Single-serving cereal boxes
  • Fruit cups or pouches

Thanks!!!
